WOW! Serenity was given a Daily Deviation!! I'm so honoured!

"She has taken wire wrapped jewelry and turned it into something beautiful and unique, yet still reminiscent of ancient designs. Many of her pieces are very intricately executed, and yet maintain a very simple beauty of form and line." -sidneyeileen

Goddess Pendant

A good friend celebrated her 50th birthday and I wanted to create something special for a present: a Goddess pendant! The design was a little tricky because of the spiral - but it worked out well in the end, I think!
Funny coincidence: when she held the pendant up in the sun to see it, a butterfly alighted on her arm...:)

New jewellery!

Finally I could tear myself away from the computer (and the harp) long enough to make some jewellery again!

Here is my latest treasure.
The gorgeous beads are by monaslampwork. They have a lovely clear amber base and darkish blue-green overlays with golden flecks, so I chose amber and labradorite beads to accompany them. The round silver beads and filigree beadcaps are Bali silver, as well as the toggle.
The wooden beads came with the lampwork beads, and I love the combination of earthy wood and luxurious silver! A nice contrast.

I call it 'Golden Sands of Time'.
Now for sale in my Etsy shop!:)

Crystal Ring

Oooh, I never thought it was going to work—using an undrilled double-terminated crystal in a wire ring.

But as a was working on it, the wire seemed to shape itself and when I stopped thinking, the ring took shape easily;-)

This one was commissioned and is sold, but I still have a similar crystal in stock. I'll make a ring like this one in the near future, if I can find the time! I'll let coincidence decide the ring size;-)

Lothlorien leaves!

Well I had the 'flu this week so I had some time to make jewellery again! I had been waiting for an opportunity to use these gorgeous peridot briolettes, and I finally had a fit of inspiration.
I always have music playing when I work, see the video that helped create these beauties:

These earrings would look great on any wood elf, dryad or faery inclined human!

Filigree earrings

Phew, finally finished these earrings I'd been working on since december!

The design proved more tricky that Id anticipated, and to make matters worse, I had bought some 26 gauge silver from a different supplier than usual, and it went brittle and broke when I so much as looked at it...aaaaargh!
They nearly went flying across the room on more than one occasion.

But the hard work paid off!
I'm keeping these babies for myself, than you very much;-)

But I'll make some more for the website and my Etsy shop....maybe...
